The potato is a plant of the species of skeletal families of the family grainy (Solanaceae). It is grown in all parts of the country and is used to feed people and domestic animals because it has an underground stem rich in starch. It originates from South America, more precisely the Andes. The species was subdivided in southern Peru, and in Europe it was brought by the Spaniards in the mid-16th century.
Potato is a perennial greenish plant. The color of the flower varies from white to pink and purple, with strongly yellow colored pillars. Breeding varieties are generally irrelevant. Pollination in most cases is externally (insects, wind), but there are self-pollination / self-fertilization data.
