Corn is a significant corn crop from the genus corn (Zea) family grass (Poceae). It originated in America, from where it spread in Europe and around the world.
It is used as feed, food for people and for industrial processing.
Non-edible parts are used in industry, paper trunks and wall panels, filler shells, fuel compartments, for making charcoal and in the preparation of industrial solvents. Corn best suits in the lowlands and in the valleys where there is enough moisture and heat.
